The Company
Heritage Minerals Pty Ltd is a specialist mineral processing company focused solely on the development and operations of the Mount Morgan gold tailings treatment and rehabilitation project at the historic Mt Morgan gold and copper mine in Queensland, Australia.
Heritage is looking for a high-calibre Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial and accounting functions of the company.

The Role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will build and lead the finance team and oversee all aspects of financial management, including financial planning, forecasting, budgets, treasury, tax, and financial reporting during the critical construction phase and onwards into the operations phase of the Project.

The Person

• Successful history of leading and managing finance functions of an operational mining company, or mining operation.
• Evident leadership and communication skills
• Demonstrable financial skills, including oversight and ability to build and maintain financial models.
• Commercial and contractual nous, evidenced by a track record of meeting budget expectations.
• Strong project accounting experience and skills, ideally including in a green-fields project environment.
• Chartered Accountant or Chartered Practicing Accountant with 12+ years' experience.
