We have been retained by the two highly respected VC firms that have recently invested into this high growth SaaS business operating Globally. Their innovative offering within AI and a content rich platform is highly valued by many Global players; with a TAM which presents a unique and exciting opportunity. The CEO has been given the "green light" to embark on an exciting growth path and now require their first CFO/COO.

Do you fancy shaping the the finance and commercial model of a SaaS business on an 20X journey? This is a unique opportunity for a technically sharp but highly commercially orientated Finance Leader who really wants to make their mark and partner a charismatic and entrepreneurial Founder / CEO.  

We are looking to engage with a passionate and tech savvy finance leader that can establish and build the right finance & commercial frameworks to enable the growth strategy. You will be working directly with the Founder / CEO and Board. Your focus will be on developing a sound financial business model, supporting strategy and new commercial deals, improving planning and processes, as well as protecting key investments made in the core product.

On your check list for 2024/5:

• Lead a small high performing finance / commercial function 
• Drive global budgeting, forecasting, analysis and insights
• Effectively manage revenues / costs and modelling overall cash flow
• Establish a robust control frameworks, including multi-currency operations and consolidations
• Own external accounting, audit, tax and insurance relationships in compliance and regulatory obligations.
• Support future company funding and investment activities

You are a high energy and challenging finance professional with prior experience gained within the Technology / SaaS environments. You have proven experience operating as Finance Leader within an agile growth orientated business (ideally Series A or B Company). Considering the fast expansion into new markets, opportunities for strategic partnerships; ideally you will have gained some international business exposure and supported regional P&Ls / GMs. You will leverage your financial expertise, knowledge, and judgment to set a personal standard for excellence.
  
Ultimately, you are a creative and driven operator with a strong strategic and commercial mindset. You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of successfully building and leading high-performing finance functions. Previous exposure to VC/PE will be highly regarded. You understand how to drive efficiencies throughout the business, improve performance data and visibility to support growth and have exceptional interpersonal skills. Equally, a sense of humility and humour will stand you in great stead for this vibrant and social growth business.
