As a key member of the Executive Management team, the CFO will partner directly with the CEO and drive the company’s overall business strategy while setting and monitoring the company’s financial policy and direction.
The role will have responsibility for managing and controlling all finance related activities including overseeing forecasting, budgeting, reporting, financial planning, compliance and all statutory requirements. Operational support will be provided for all areas of the business, including developing initiatives to improve internal controls and audit. This role has a heavy emphasis on assisting with the strategic direction of the Group through sound commercial initiatives and outcomes as well as maintaining and developing key external relationships at the highest level of private and public sector organisations.
Key to this role will be a “hands on” individual who is a real team player and has experience in analysing skills sets of the team and building successful and cohesive teams to meet the business needs. You will need to CPA or CA qualified, have experience working in complex, diverse, multi-site business operations as a CFO preferably in Retail or FMCG.
This role will suit an individual with strong integrity, who is dependable, has a stable work history, and can exercise sound judgement and make well thought out decisions.
