Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect) is Australia’s largest service provider for people on the autism spectrum. Their well-regarded specialised, evidence-informed schools’ program is one of the largest in the world. As an approved NDIS provider with over 4,200 participants annually, Aspect drives best-practice intervention and educational outcomes for those living with autism.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and as a key member of the executive team, this is a unique opportunity to evoke change on a material scale, growing and leading a team through the organisation’s exciting technology uplift. Leading a large team, the Chief Information Officer will:
- Develop and implement the technology strategy to harmonise and elevate the linkage between systems, people and Aspect’s services.
- Create and foster a values-led performance-based culture that is collaborative, accountable, engaged, agile and customer centric.
- Remain agile and entrepreneurial ensuring a sustainable and resourceful strategic agenda.
- Act as the subject matter expert across the organisation to guide and govern the technology journey.
About You
For this role, we are seeking a well-rounded, energetic and entrepreneurially minded technology leader with a demonstrated track record in delivering on strategic goals within a highly customer centric service delivery model. In addition, you will have:
- Extensive experience in a senior management position delivering of high-quality IT services in a large, complex, dispersed and diverse organisation.
- Depth and breadth of end-to-end functional oversight; strategic planning, business analysis, enterprise architecture, systems development, telecommunications, tendering, procurement and acquisition, commercial management, project management and quality assurance.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record establishing a high-performance culture.
- Desire to contribute to the impactful work of an organisation striving for best-practice intervention and educational outcome for those living with autism.
