Partnering closely with the Chief Digital Officer and Vice-President Digital, the CIO is the senior technology leader responsible for co-creating and enabling the University's digital strategy. The CIO proactively leads the IT strategy and function through technology and innovation capability change, product selection and solutions delivery. The role brings together current knowledge to deliver clear competitive advantage by leveraging IT in business model design, business capability performance re-engineering, product and service development. The CIO will also drive the development and leadership of the cyber security strategy, roadmap and posture for the protection of the broader University from cyber threats.
With experience gained in complex, customer-centric, 24-hour service environments, candidates will bring vision coupled with outstanding IT credentials and collegial leadership qualities to engage and influence others. They will also have the energy and ambition to drive the implementation of a world-class digital strategy that will further enhance the capability of the University and its people.
