THE ROLESteel Blue is seeking a visionary Chief Marketing Officer to join our Executive Leadership Team. This pivotal role will lead the strategic direction and operational execution of marketing plans to elevate the Steel Blue brand on a global scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a global marketing team across Australia, EMEA, and the USA to ensure the execution of comprehensive marketing strategies, aligned with our business strategy
- Manage the marketing budget effectively, focusing on ROI and KPIs
- Lead brand positioning, ensuring alignment with Steel Blue’s purpose and strategy.
- Identify end-user needs and optimize the customer journey experience through market research and feedback mechanisms.
- Complete annual USA and Europe travel to conduct on the ground reviews and participate in strategic workshops.
- Manage Steel Blue’s global public relations policy and establish processes to mitigate reputational risk, including writing press releases to briefing PR agency and attending and speaking on behalf of the organisation
- Oversee digital strategy, including SEO, SEM, and social media across all regions.
- Drive continuous improvement in marketing services and engage with service providers to optimize investment.
- Participate in strategic decision-making and develop marketing strategies that support business growth.
To be successful in the role he ideal candidate will possess:
- a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, with an MBA being preferred.
- a minimum of 10 years of marketing experience , including a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
- A proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and techniques.
- Possess exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with global teams
- Willingness and ability to conduct regular international travel
