We are pleased to announce the opening of the Mount Gravatt practice scheduled for May 2024. The practice will offer a wide range of diagnostic imaging services including General X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT. We are seeking applications for a Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist to lead the Nuclear Medicine department. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the final stages of development and to contribute to a complex community practice under the direction of managing radiologist Dr Hemant Bhardwaj.
About the role
The successful applicant will operationally manage Nuclear Medicine clinical services across a multidisciplinary team under the direction of the Director of Nuclear Medicine, and the Nuclear Medicine Operations Manager. It would be desirable for applicants to have experience in the delivery of advanced level general Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT, Theranostics, diagnostic CT, and can demonstrate clinical leadership within a comprehensive Nuclear Medicine department. Furthermore, you will be required to supervise the in-house compounding of Nuclear Medicine, PET, and therapy radiopharmaceuticals.
About you
You will demonstrate:
- Tertiary qualifications in Medical Radiation Science (Nuclear Medicine)
- Full AHPRA Registration with no imposed conditions or limitations
- Full QLD Radiation Use Licence
- A passion for delivering an exceptional patient care/customer service experience
- The ability to deliver quality work and remain calm under pressure
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to collaborate with other members of staff and work as part of a team
- Accuracy and sharp attention to detail
