AddressWe are looking for a full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist to play a crucial role in our patient-centred, cutting-edge molecular imaging department. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Northern Beaches Hospital, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using Siemens SPECT/CT and Canon Digital PET/CT. No weekend or on call commitments required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients in compliance with established protocols.
- Operate and maintain Nuclear Medicine imaging equipment.
- Perform a variety of diagnostic procedures, including SPECT, PET, and various hot lab and labelling.
- Collaborate with other modalities to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper handling of radioactive materials and adhere to radiation safety guidelines and protocols.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in Nuclear Medicine and PET technology and techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Nuclear Medicine) or equivalent
- Registered with AHPRA as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Must hold or be eligible for a NSW EPA Radiation license IA16D and S14
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Working with Children Check
- Previous experience using the Siemens operation systems is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
- Experience in a hospital or acute care clinical setting is preferred.
