The Service:

KU Braddonis in a beautiful tree lined street in Canberra’s Inner North, walking distance from the city, and offers beautiful outdoor environments. The service operates from 8am-6pm and the outdoor learning environments were architecturally designed by a well-known landscaping group in Canberra, featuring a unique water pumping station, decks and quality finishes. KU Braddon is 55 places and provides a calm, loving place for children to socialise with other children – with a philosophy that care and education must be combined in planning for the needs, interests and skills of each child.

The Role

We are looking for an organised administrator to provide a range of administrative duties vital to the efficient operations of the service you will work 20 hours per week during the services operational hours. In particular, you will be managing enrolments, family accounts and the centre’s waiting list using the software XAP, some general accounting tasks, responding to email and phone queries’ and assisting the Director with a range of tasks including filing and record keeping, as well as being the friendly point of contact for families’.

Of course, you will need:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A collaborative team approach
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to establish, maintain and enhance positive internal and external relationships
  • A positive and ‘can do’ attitude
  • Previous experience and / or a relevant qualification
  • Have proficient computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
