Compliance Administrator

As a member of the Lineage team, you are a critical link in the food supply chain.The Asia-Pacific region currently includes Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Singapore employing nearly 3000 team members.As we continue our transformation and growth journey, we are currently looking to appoint a Compliance Administrator based at Hume Road facility in Laverton North, Melbourne.You will support the Compliance Supervisor and Quality Manager, ensuring all sites comply with internal and external food safety and compliance requirements, including but not limited to import/export audits, HACCP and customer specific audits.In addition, you will communicate key audit and food safety requirements to the site operational teams as well as maintain effective relationships with management and respective operational managers.You will also support the development, implementation, and maintain compliance and quality systems in accordance with company guidelines.Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Maintaining Food Safety systems that as a minimum, satisfies legislative and customer requirementsMonitoring and maintaining the controls and standards to enable operational compliance with Food Safety regulations and requirementsSupporting and attending regular auditing programs that satisfy legal, certification, company and customer requirementsConducting internal audits, maintaining registrations and certifications ensuring that they are in place and up to dateAssisting in ensuring the compliance of site with internal and external audit requirementsDeveloping training materials and leading educational programs of operations team for continuous improvementAdhering to and keeping informed of all relevant legislation, product safety and quality issues, scientific and technical developments, and industry codes of practiceEnsuring that the operation operates within the Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ), HACCP and Approved Arrangement guidelines complianceFollowing and enforcing all food safety, quality and legality requirementsProviding support to sites in closing out all corrective action requests within timelines set out by auditsKey skills/experience will ideally include:Strong understanding of safety procedures, product safety, quality and legality issuesExperience in Root Cause identification, preparing corrective actions and confirming effectiveness.Appropriate knowledge of HACCP and strong interest in quality management systemsQualifications in Internal or External Auditing (ISO9001:2015) or relevant disciplinesExtensive experience in a similar role, within a multi commodity operation (i.e. meat, fish, diary) with an emphasis on export meatExperience in Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) Schemes (e.g. BRC, SQF, FSSC 22000, IFS, etc)Experience completing export meat documentation such as RFP and MTC.Why is this opportunity exciting?As a values-based business, we are proud to offer you a respectful work environment built around trust, collaboration and support.
