Child & Family Caseworker

Our Client is currently seeking experienced child protection practitioners to join their established team in South West Sydney! This is a rare opportunity to join a skilled team in providing therapeutic intervention and case management to families with children at risk of entering Out of Home Care.   This role will involve;

• Manage a case load of 7-8 families experiencing complex issues pertaining to abuse and neglect
• Use appropriate risk assessment and risk minimization tools when engaging children, young people and families
• Work collaboratively with clients to implement, monitor and review case plans
• Collaborate with other service providers to ensure appropriate services are being delivered
• Tailor support to families individual needs and deliver in-home services
• Document and create reports according to planned time frame

They are looking for candidates with casework experience in a child protection related program.The requirements for this role include;

• Completed Bachelor of Social Work, Social Sciences, Psychology or related field 
• Minimum 1 year casework experience in a a child protection related program
• Strong knowledge of child protection legislation 
• Ability to produce clear and concise written documentation
• Current Working with Children's Check and Driver's License
