Qualification Requirements – Child Protection Worker You must have a Bachelors degree in Social

Work, Psychology, or relevant human services area to be eligible for this position.  All overseas qualifications must be assessed for Australian equivalency. Refer to our website for information about the qualification requirements for this role, and how we will be assessing your qualifications.

If you do not hold an approved qualification for the Child Protection Worker role, please apply for one of the below roles:  Providing direct support to Child Protection Workers by collecting, recording and analysing client information, and engaging with children, families, government and non-government support agencies. Providing supervision and support to families, children and young people about accessing Department and community resources. Responsible for contributing to the effective management of the District Offices by providing a high level of customer service in relation to administrative matters.

You will be the first point of contact for members of the community accessing the Child Protection and Family Support services of the Department of Communities. Responsible for undertaking homes and community visits to provide culturally appropriate support and assistance to Parents and Carer.
