About the Role
We currently have vacancy in our Children Services team for an experienced Child Care Assistant on a part time basis. Reporting to the Manager Community Services, you will play a crucial leadership role in managing the operations and forward planning of Council’s expanding Library Services, with a focus on ensuring the recreational, educational and cultural needs of our community are met.

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate their competency for the position by meeting the following essential criteria:
- Minimum Certificate III in Children’s Service
- Over 18 years of age with a minimum of 1 year experience working with children aged 5-12 years
- Over 18 years of age with a minimum of 1 year experience working with children aged 5-12 years
- Current First Aid Certificate, CPR certificate and Working With Children Check
- Demonstrated ability to work individually and collaboratively as part of a professional team
- Ability to develop and maintain respectful relationships with external customers.
- Demonstrated basic knowledge of programming and evaluation for school age children, ensuring contribution to the section.
