The role
We’re seeking a passionate individual who will work alongside another Cook in our on-site kitchen to plan and provide high quality, nutritious meals for children at our Kids Uni North service.
This role will see you working in a permanent part time role between Monday and Friday, working 7 hours per day from 7am until 2pm. All training will be provided and you will have the ability to grow and develop your skills in the role.
Each centre has their own allergy management plans that you would need to abide by in preparation of food. You will also be responsible for stock management and placing weekly food orders.

Requirements
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (preferred)
- Hold, or be willing to obtain a Certificate in Safe Food Handling.
- Hold and maintain a Working with Children Check
- Ability to plan varied and nutritional menus for young children.
- Willingness to learn about commercial food preparation, if no experience.
- Ability to cater for special dietary and cultural needs.
- Ability to work within a budget.
- Participate in the National Quality Standards Process.
