The Centre
This lovely 55 place service in Randwick is looking for a childcare Cook to join their team today to help deliver delicious and nutritious meals to the children of the service. The service offers flexible working arrangements and is looking for someone to work 3-5 days a week, working 5 hour shifts, usually between 8am - 1pm. The centre is a 10 minute walk from Randwick Lightrail or ample parking can be found nearby.
The Role
You role will be as a Cook in one of the centres and you will be responsible for:
Menu planning - catering for any special dietary requirements and allergies
Organising meal provisions - ordering food supplies and preparing relevant meals and snacks, working with a budget
Food safety - ensuring all food and nutrition policies and procedures are adhered to
Healthy and safety - ensuring all health and safety policies are adhered to

About You
Current Food Safety and Handlers Certificate
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery / equivalent (desirable)
Experience working with children or experience in a childcare setting (desirable)
Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain)
Strong knowledge of allergies and cooking methods to ensure no cross contamination
