Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of educators to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children.
- Implement and maintain high-quality early childhood programs that meet the needs and interests of individual children.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Provide guidance, support, and mentoring to team members.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards set by ACEQA.
- Collaborate with management to continually improve the centre’s operations and curriculum.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or working towards the ACEQA equivalent or a Diploma in Children's Services.
- Proven experience working in a childcare setting, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong knowledge of the Education and Care Services Regulations, National Quality Standard (NQS), and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- First Aid Certificate in a Childcare setting.
- Asthma & Anaphylaxis training certification.
