Key Responsibilities:
- Overall management and smooth operation of the service
- Proactive management of key financials, including occupancy, rostering, fee collection, and wages
- Leading and mentoring educators to achieve excellence and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Developing a high-quality cycle of planning, curriculum, and outcomes for each child
- Ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining documentation accessible to families
- Creating a friendly, secure, and stimulating learning environment
- Maintaining high health and safety standards
- Developing and maintaining the centre’s Quality Improvement Plan
Selection Criteria:
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a director or a senior role in early childhood settings
- Ability to adapt quickly, think strategically, and use initiative.
- Proven leadership, management, and relationship-building skills
- Diploma of Children's Services qualification/degree in early childhood l
- First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis Management Certificate, and Child Protection training
- Excellent knowledge and application of legislative and regulatory frameworks
- Demonstrable ability to connect with the community and form effective working relationships
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
