AddressKiddiwinks is a family owned and operated by two passionate early childhood teachers with over 20 years experience in the industry. We cater for children 0-6yrs of age with a long day care and preschool facility. Offering lots of parking for educators and within very close proximity to the bus stop for ease of access.
We are currently looking for a Director to assist us in the overall management of the centre and to join our friendly and supportive team.
The Area Manager and companies management team will work closely with you on a daily basis to support you in the role.
The Director will be responsible in managing and overseeing the day to day running of the centre. You will be required to manage all administrative tasks including but not limited to;
- Staff rosters,
- Tours and enrolling new families,
- Managing emails to parents,
- Using QIK KIDS & OWNA (child care management software) to manage rolls, CCS, IS Claims, bookings and more
- Manage the team ensuring they are performing to the centre policies, procedures and expectations,
- weekly food and meat ordering,
- completing centre audits
- ordering stock for cleaning and nappies
- work in line with a budget
You will be required to oversee the running of all staff meetings as required and contribute to and manage the self-assessment.
We require the Director to have a focus on compliance and ensuring the centre operates in line with the regulations.
The successful candidates will be expected to be able to commence ASAP.
The Director must have the following criteria:
- Holds a Diploma or ECT qualification
- At least 12 months experience in a Director role
- Knowledge and understanding of the EYLF
- Ability to oversee the use of online style programming along with some paper based programming
- Statement of attainment in child protection
- Current Working with Children Check
- First Aid certificate
- Good knowledge of Education and Care National Regulations
- Ability to provide high quality care and education
- Professional attitude, effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment and manage a team of educators
- Extensive knowledge of child development 0-6yrs
- Friendly and energetic
