Carlton Academy of Early Learning is a family-owned and operated, boutique early learning service. We are a 39 place Centre catering for children from 18 months to 6 years. An exciting opportunity for an experienced, passionate and highly motivated Full Time Director/ Nominated Supervisor has become available. As a Director/Nominated Supervisor, you have a passion for early childhood education, collaboration and very motivated. This role is highly dynamic and fast paced, giving the right candidate the opportunity to truly make the service their own.

About the role:
· Ensure excellent delivery of operational services to our children, our team members and our families
· Manage the professional, smooth, efficient and effective running of the centre
· Lead and develop the team to deliver a high-quality cycle of planning, curriculum and outcomes for each child
· Provide engaging learning environments that allow children to think critically and direct their own learning
· Ensure a high level of health and safety standards are maintained at all times
· Communicate effectively with all key stakeholders (including families, educators, local community etc)
· Establish and nurture respectful relationships with children, families and staff
· Ensure that statutory and organisational requirements are met and maintained, including, but not limited to attendance sheets, allowable absences, childcare usage reports, childcare benefits, receipts and enrolment information
· Ensure that the philosophy, policies and procedures of the Service are upheld, implemented and reviewed regularly to meet relevant requirements.
· Encourage staff and families of the Service to actively contribute to the quality and success of the Service.
· Build relationships and strong connections between families and the centre.
· Monitor the utilisation of services and financial expenditure.
· General staff management responsibilities such as recruitment, rosters and performance management
About you:
- Diploma Qualified, or ECT
- At least 2 years experience as Nominated supervisor/Director
- Extensive knowledge of the National Quality Standards and Early years Learning framework
- Passionate and committed to high quality early childhood and education
- Excellent communication skills and leadership skills
- Current First Aid Certificate including
- Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- Current Working with Children Check
