About the role
As a Public Health and Safety Administration Officer, your primary responsibility will be to deliver administrative support to the Statutory Planning & Regulatory Services, and the Public Health & Community Safety service areas specifically through effective and efficient administration operations. Some of your tasks will include organising and coordinating Council’s immunisation program, lodging and allocating complaints (noise and nuisance) and administration tasks relating to the food/Health and accommodation functions of Council.
In this position, we expect you to demonstrate enthusiasm, motivation, and a keen eye for detail.

About you
You will have completed a Certificate II, III or IV in an administration discipline, or possess the knowledge and skills gained through on-the-job training commensurate with the requirements of the work at this role.
Ideally you will have knowledge and significant administration experience at a high level in local government functions within a background of Compliance, Planning or Regulatory Services function, and possess good verbal and written communication skills along with a demonstrated ability to work as a highly effective member of a team.
