The Position

We are currently seeking a driven, experienced Civil Construction concreters to join our Civil Construction crew. This will initially be a casual role with full-time hours, Monday to Friday with base location of Bayswater North. Jobs are in and around Melbourne, predominantly in the South East suburbs.

• Concreting a number of areas such as footpath, Kerb & Channel, crossovers etc - MUST have experience
• Perform a variety of tasks involving manual labour on projects; perform manual work in preparing surfaces
• Lay and finish of materials, specifically, Kerb & Channel, road constructions, crossovers, footpaths
• If licensed, operate equipment including Excavators, Rollers, Skid Steer, Paver or Profiler
• Maintain a clean job site: pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards.

Core competencies & requirements:

• 2+ year experience in civil construction concreting
• Red or White construction card
• Valid drivers licence and reliable vehicle
• HR licence is highly regarded
• Plant Operation (excavator, skid steer) is highly regarded
• First Aid Level 2 certificate is desirable
