The Outpatient Training and Compliance Officer will operate with a high degree of independence in performing the duties of the position whilst maintaining open channels of communication.Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.The SCHHS is a values-based organisation. We respect, protect and promote human rights in our decision-making and actions.The Ambulatory Care Centre (ACC) and other Outpatient Services at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH) aims to provide governance, accountability and management to ensure consistency across the patient care continuum. The team provides governance and management of the functional space and provides nursing and administrative support to the specialties that provide outpatient care in this area. The Outpatient Training and Compliance Officer reports to the Project Manager Finance, Finance and Business Division.Key Responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain training materials to enable contemporary and flexible delivery methods (ie. curriculum design, handbooks, user manuals, quick reference guides) that are based on workflows, compliance, roles, and evidence based.
- Conduct training sessions in a variety of contexts including one-on-one, small groups, large group forums and presentations while ensuring SCHHS and staff development needs are met.
- Manage competencies and ongoing mentoring to administration staff to ensure the skills are preserved and maintained at a high standard.
