The Role:
As the Civil Design Drafter, you will report directly into the National Civil Lead and play an integral role within our Adelaide team, this role offers the opportunity to work autonomously within a collaborative environment, contributing to the development and delivery of cutting-edge engineering solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Uphold and promote safety standards in all tasks, ensuring the well-being of colleagues and stakeholders.
- Take ownership of projects, demonstrating agility and a focus on delivering outcomes.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop digital platforms and enhance drafting processes.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders and contribute to documentation production and control processes.
- Develop designs and documentation for complex civil engineering projects, utilizing computer-aided design software.
- Review and quality-check work to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Manage time and workload efficiently, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and client expectations.
- Participate in internal and external project meetings, contributing to continual improvement initiatives.
- Provide design drafting services using both 2D and 3D software, with a focus on delivering high-quality outputs.
- Interact with clients and colleagues at all levels, embodying the values and behaviors of Innovis.
Key Requirements:
- Experience with AutoCAD for civil engineering, with some knowledge of 3D design software preferred.
- Experience in project setup and delivering projects to construction level.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in project delivery.
- Experience in preparing civil works design documentation and structural detailing.
- Ability to operate digital engineering tools and develop technical details.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
