Project Manager - Civil Design Engineer Position based in Adelaide Your new company

Your new role
Ensure engineering design practices and standards in the organisation are in accordance with Australian Standards, guides and codes as appropriate, meeting industry best practice
Review, prepare and/or modify engineering designs, plans, project specifications, project proposals, scopes of work and project opinion of probable cost
Prepare concept, feasibility and detailed design documentation and obtain relevant reviews and approvals from appropriate authorities
Meet with project team on a regular basis to provide advice and mentoring on operational, project and management responsibilities
Conduct site inspections with clients; contractors; council and regulatory authorities where required
Provide lead input on bids and proposals, review bids prior to submission
Build client relationships with existing and new clients to generate ongoing business
Manage relationships and provision of business information to external business partners such as clients, suppliers and consultants
Deliver projects on time, to quality standards and budget requirements
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Urban Development and Civil Infrastructure experience
Strong understanding and practical experience in managing contracts using the AS2124-1992 General Conditions of Contract
Proven track record in business development and effective client consultation
High level of proficiency in using computer systems
Exposure to project management is desirable
Aspiring or completion of professional certification chartered Status
Analytical and logical thinking
Effective communication and Interpersonal Skills
Advanced time management and organisational Skills
Proactive approach to solving challenges.
