Great opportunity to join a Government Organisation as a Lead Civil Designer in their Road Design Services team.

Aspect Personnel are working with a Government Organisation Melbourne to recruit a a Lead Civil Designer within their Road Design Services team.

This is a Hybrid role with 3 days office based and 2 days WFH.

The Lead Civil Designer - Road Design is a specialist that supports the Team Leader – Road Design, responsible for leading the delivery of road design services and technical advice, providing leadership and guidance in the field of road design.

Employed as a Civil Design Lead, you will be responsible for:

• Managing and leading the delivery of road design projects.
• Exercise sound specialist knowledge with the road design field and provided trusted technical advice and solutions relating to road and traffic disciplines.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and clients.

• A degree in Civil Engineering, or relevant experience/qualifications
• Extensive experience in road design
• Experience working software such as MicroStation and Openroads.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A current drivers license
