**Position Summary:**
The Civil Construction Engineer will play a vital role in the planning, design, and execution of various Civil Engineering projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all phases of construction projects, ensuring projects meet technical specifications, are completed on time, and within the allocated budget. This role requires a blend of field and office work, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to achieve project goals.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Project Planning and Design:
- Prepare comprehensive project plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- Utilize CAD software to create detailed designs and layouts.
- Conduct site evaluations and feasibility assessments.
2. **Project Management:
- Oversee the construction process from start to finish.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary.
3. **Quality Control and Compliance:
- Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations and building codes.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits.
- Implement quality control procedures and standards.
4. **Budget and Resource Management:
- Prepare cost estimates and manage project budgets.
- Allocate resources efficiently and track expenditure.
5. **Problem Solving and Troubleshooting:
- Identify, assess, and resolve project-related issues.
- Implement effective solutions to keep projects on track.
6. **Client and Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate project updates and progress to clients and stakeholders.
- Prepare and present reports, proposals, and documentation as required.
**Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil construction or related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
