We are seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our team, primarily based at our project in Costerfield however travel to other sites may be required as part of the role. As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will collaborate closely with our Site Engineer to implement and maintain our Quality Assurance (QA) system on various projects. Your primary responsibility will involve managing documentation and computer records integral to the QA and construction management processes.
About the Role
Your initial responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the development and administration of document control system for QA requirements.
- Assisting in creating QA documentation like ITPs and checklists.
- Aid in internal and external audits of QA system.
- Monitoring daily costs and production figures.
- Ensuring timely updating and distribution of permits, drawings, and specifications.
- Coordinating geotechnical, concrete, pipeline, and geosynthetic testing with site engineers.
- Manage surveying tasks and CAD files.
- Promote Goldsmith values and culture within the project teams.
About you
To be considered for this role the successful applicant must have:
- A Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid working rights in Australia
