Moving millions of people needs the skill and commitment of a talented workforce.About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen in the position of Civil Engineer within our Network & Infrastructure (N&I) division. We are seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to provide engineering support for all asset management aspects including maintenance, design, construction, upgrades and modifications of the branch assets. The incumbent will project manage third party access to the PTA’s rail network and safeguards PTA assets, contributing to the overall performance, reliability and all other associated activities in accordance with PTA and regulatory requirements.About YouTo be successful in this position you must have:
- A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent with recognition by, or membership of, the Institute of Engineers Australia.
- Proven experience in providing Civil Engineering support in the planning, design and delivery of maintenance and/or construction works in an operational asset intensive environment.
- Proven experience of applying asset management frameworks and asset management strategy.
- Good knowledge of Civil Engineering practices and an ability to manage multiple tasks in a high intensity environment.
- Demonstrated experience in providing leadership to others that contributes to the achievement of agreed outcomes for a team.
- Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including negotiation and facilitation skills.
- A written application addressing Selection Criteria 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 from the JDF, in no more than 2 pages.
