Form of work As a Civil Engineer in an Asset Management team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support in the efficient management of the state-controlled road infrastructure. You will be based in a dynamic team with a strong emphasis on design, construction, and maintenance processes, all aimed at ensuring the highest quality of service.Key Responsibilities:Conduct assessments of road infrastructure assets and recommend engineering solutions based on updated best practices and a life cycle perspective.Analyse infrastructure condition data, utilising a big-data platform to develop comprehensive Asset Management treatment options.Support Asset Management strategies that optimise whole-of-life costs across various elements.Provide technical advice for planning, design, and business case development to ensure program outcomes, value for money, and best practices are achieved.Determine engineering requirements, including materials, critical components, and systems, to support project management and delivery.Adhere to relevant standards, policies, guidelines, and legislative requirements for road infrastructure projects.Ensure compliance with quality management procedures to maintain high and consistent project standards.Foster effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.Coordinate work activities, encourage teamwork, and align with organisational objectives.Complete tasks as directed by the business unit manager.Qualifications and Requirements:A Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent Civil Engineering qualification accepted by Engineers Australia.Current Class C driver's license.Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Required to undergo employment screening, including a criminal history check, as part of the selection process.OH&S Construction Induction (white card or equivalent) If you are an experienced and motivated Civil Engineer looking for your next career move, we encourage you to click APPLY or forward your CV to ************@chandlermacleod.com.
