Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Principal Civil Engineer for our client's Brisbane, Gold Coast, or Sunshine Coast offices. This role has been created due to substantial organic growth within the company. Reporting directly to the State Director, you will lead a project delivery team to meet client commitments and foster client advocacy and confidence.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee projects from due diligence to develop application, design coordination, and contract administration.
- Negotiate with stakeholders (clients, authorities, consultants) to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and nurture relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Assist in forecasting workloads to meet project deliverables.
- Contribute to sustainable profit generation and growth.
- Manage commercial risk with responsible judgement.
- Recruit, manage, train, and mentor staff.
- Ensure financial targets are met, including budgets and profitability.
- Proven experience in planning and managing projects across all stages of delivery.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
- Experience in budgeting, commercial acumen, and risk management.
- High-level industry awareness and engagement.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- REPQ certification desirable.
