Civil Engineer Contract Administrators Rep Ca01 - Gen

Great opportunity for Civil Roads Engineers to join a progressive Project Delivery Company and help us deliver Major Road Projects in Queensland.

We are currently experiencing a high demand for works in the Brisbane and/or greater QLD area and require more Civil Engineers with Road Construction experience, interested in joining us and capable of committing to 1 to 3 year assignments with the possibility of ongoing extensions, other projects &/or becoming a permanent Consultant.
The government have recognised that we need to develop more good Civil Engineers into the Civil Contract Administration field.
These roles will be responsible for assisting with the construction phase of the roads infrastructure project to ensure a high level of quality is maintained and develop professional Civil Contract Administration experience.
Responsibilities:
Sub-contractor management
Coordinate closely with the Project Engineer
Monitoring and recording project progress
Working with all stakeholders
Mandatory Experience
• Minimum of 5 years' post-graduate experience in the civil construction of transport and road infrastructure projects for TMR Projects either directly or indirectly via an Infrastructure Consultant or Construction company.
• Experience in interpreting and applying policies, legislation, technical guidelines, practices and procedures to TMR policies, standards, and specifications.
• A stable career history with reputable civil contractors
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Hold relevant tickets and licenses
• Proactively Contribute to the HSE obligations and initiatives
Qualifications
• Civil Engineering Degree / Bachelor of Technology or an equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution, which is accepted by the Institution of Engineers Australia as a full Member (MIEAust); OR
• Associate Degree in Engineering (Civil) with relevant competencies equivalent to the three-year degree.
The proposed hours are nominally 40 per week, although no guarantee there won't be more or less hours due to project demands. The roles can be Brisbane and/or greater Queensland based which will be discussed with each assignment.
