AddressWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Civil Engineer to join our team. If you have experience within the mining industry or civil sector and are ready to assist in project management and the execution and QA of civil projects, we want to hear from you! The role offered is a 5/2 roster, DIDO only on a 4 month contract with continuation.
Key Requirements:
- S11 certification (mandatory)
- Current CBM (advantageous)
- Experience within the mining industry or civil sector
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license advantageous
- Estimating, quantity surveying and scoping of future projects.
- Forecasting and planning of projects (current and future).
- Variation management.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and project management
- Proficiency in civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Responsibilities:
- Assist project management with the execution and quality assurance of civil projects
- Conduct site inspections and assessments
- Prepare technical reports and documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Coordinate with other engineers, contractors, and stakeholders
- Monitor project progress and provide updates to management
