Civil Engineer

Queensland Complete Contracting Services (QCCS) is a medium sized civil construction company working throughout Central Queensland and the Bowen Basin. We have established ourselves as an industry leader providing civil construction and earthmoving solutions across a range of diverse industries for the past 20 years.

 Your new role:

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer with the energy and drive to join our Mackay based team to deliver a secured workbook of projects. 

 Working across our project locations you will:        

• Provide leadership support and guidance to site teams, supervisors and leading hands
• Work closely with the management team, supervisors, and estimating team to oversee and ensure timely delivery of project requirements within budget and on time
• Oversee planning, procurement, labour management and materials supply for projects
• Ensure compliance for works undertaken with a focus on WHS and Risk Management.

As the successful candidate you will possess or develop the following competences:

• Civil Project Engineering experience ideally with exposure to earthworks and concreting projects.
• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering.
• Have permanent rights with no restrictions to work in Australia
• Willing to relocate to Mackay 
• Experience at delivering infrastructure projects to safely meet quality requirements on time and within budgets. 
• Strong commercial and financial contract knowledge and capability
• Adaptable and flexible with regards to competing timelines, projects and resource allocation.
• Experience with P6 or MS Project in construction programming highly desirable
• Be willing to work to travel and work on clients’ sites from time to time.
