As the business continues at the back of winning new projects, Cardno now Stantec Sunshine Coast office has an opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer. You will join and experienced team of engineers and designers who are passionate about making a difference to the local area and being part of the exciting growth of this region.
Reporting to the office manager, you will have the opportunity to work on variety of projects, play a key role in delivering our projects from master planned communities and high-density developments through to infrastructure projects for Council and government. We hold a strong industry reputation off the back of successfully delivered projects.
- Provide civil engineering design services
- Project scoping and preparation of bids relating to specific Road and Transport project pursuits
- Overseeing and managing projects to ensure work output is of a technically high standard and activities are commercially viable for the business
- Planning resource needs in consultation with Project Managers
- Demonstrated experience within a civil infrastructure in either Urban or Transport
- Some experience with Australian major road authorities (ideally Department of Transport & Main Roads)
- Demonstrated experience and relationships within local councils
- Strong client relationship and business development skills
- Excellent technical report writing skills
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
