Form of workOur client is an Engineering Design consultant with 200+ employees across several offices nationwide. They design intelligent solutions for the buildings, environmental, land development, maritime and riverine, transport, waste and water sectors.
Position:
Seeking a Civil Engineer to contribute to the successful delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
The successful candidate will support the NSW water team, working alongside the senior team members to deliver a diverse portfolio of projects.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role you will be / possess:
- Degree qualification in Civil / Environmental Engineering.
- 5 years’ experience in water and wastewater infrastructure design (e.g. water mains, gravity and pressure sewers, and pumping stations).
- Experience in network planning or hydraulic modelling (i.e. InfoWorks WS / ICM, WaterGEMs).
- Understand the scope, extent and context of project tasks as well as client and stakeholder requirements
- Understand Statutory requirements and appropriate Standards.
- Identify and asses project risks and communicate these to the project team.
- Strong verbal & communication skills with the ability to provide direction on technical solutions.
