SalaryJP Drafting Services (SA) Drafting and Design: Create detailed and accurate 2D and 3D drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software based on specifications provided by engineers and architects. Develop plans, sections, elevations, and construction details to illustrate project requirements. Collaboration: Work closely with civil engineers, architects, and other team members to understand project objectives and incorporate design changes as necessary.
Participate in design reviews and communicate effectively with team members to address feedback. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all drawings and plans comply with relevant building codes, zoning regulations, and other legal requirements. Stay updated on industry standards and best practices to incorporate into drafting work.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including record drawings, as-built drawings, and other relevant documents. Organize and manage drawing files to facilitate easy access and retrieval of information. Quality Control: Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards before finalizing and distributing to the project team.
Assist in identifying and resolving potential design conflicts and issues. Communication: Effectively communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders to clarify design intent and resolve any discrepancies in the drawings. Provide support during the construction phase by addressing requests for information (RFIs) and clarifications.
Technology Integration: Stay current with advancements in drafting and design software to enhance efficiency and productivity. Implement new tools and technologies that contribute to the improvement of the drafting process. Deadline Management: Prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines and milestones.
