Job description
We are currently seeking skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as Civil Plant Operators & Labourers for working Away Projects. This role will involve working on various civil construction projects, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain a variety of construction machinery and equipment, including excavators, loaders, rollers, graders, and other earthworks machinery.
Follow project specifications and construction plans to perform tasks efficiently and accurately.
Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure their continuous operation.
Collaborate with other team members to complete projects within given timeframes and meet quality standards.
Possess a valid driver's license to operate machinery and transport equipment to and from job sites.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other stakeholders involved in the project.
Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in handling changing project requirements and working conditions.
Conduct pre-employment medical examinations and maintain physical fitness to meet job requirements if required.
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during equipment operation.
Possess excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and supervisors.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Civil Plant Operator/ Civil Labourer or similar role is preferred.
Proven ability to operate and maintain various construction machinery and equipment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with others.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Valid driver's license and the ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to handle changing project requirements.
Responsible and efficient work ethic to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
Must be physically fit and able to perform physically demanding tasks.
Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical examinations including random drug and alcohol screening and maintain medical fitness.
Hold the correct licences and tickets for plant operations.
Hold current valid construction White Card.
