As a result of strong growth, we have an exceptional opportunity for a Project Engineer (Civil) to join our great team for an immediate start at our engineering workshop in Darra.
We are looking for an experienced individual who will bring a positive can-do attitude to their role and to the team.
The successful applicants to have the following skills and/or experience:
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or its equivalent
- Previous experience delivering civil infrastructure projects for State authorities, preferably in Power Transmission Infrastructure.
- Sound knowledge of Quality procedures, WHS, Environmental and HR/IR procedures
- Strong understanding of head and subcontract agreements
- Forecasting/managing budgets
- Excellent written and verbal communication
POSITION
As Project Engineer (Civil) your primary objective will be to:
- Interpret specifications, drawings and construction methods,
- Design structures and select appropriate materials.
- Develop budgets and estimates
- Lead the safety culture with your team and drive compliance through all works
- Monitor and coordinate all phases of project progress to meet specified requirements.
