Our client, an Australian energy and power system contractor, is seeking an Civil Project Engineer to join their team, point of hire Brisbane or Sydney, this is a full-time permanent position on a 10:4 rotation for the first project.

Responsibilities
The purpose of the Civil Project Engineer is to provide input and assistance to the Project Delivery Team, assisting with the coordination, construction, commissioning, and delivery of a major substation, transmission, and renewable energy projects. Working in a team the successful Project Engineer will be responsible for the safe coordination of various contractors, as well as;
- Accountable for the delivery of various packages within the project and providing technical support during the delivery stages of the project.
- Play a key role in construction phase, pre-commissioning phase, and commissioning phase.
- Establish strong relationships with management, venture partners, executive management team, and wider group of internal and external stakeholders.
- Engage and collaborate with colleagues, supporting the achievement of project objectives.
- Identify areas of improvement opportunities and assist with project variation submissions.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Relevant Civil infrastructure qualification
- Major projects experience highly regarded
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven experience in similar position reviewing and managing designs, construction, administration required
- Pre-employment medical and Police Check
- Two industry relevant Referees
