AddressDavbridge Constructions is a family-owned civil contracting specialist with over 30 years experience in the Civil Construction industry. We specialise in bridge structures, piling, civil earthworks, roads, and complex concrete structures.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking motivated Project Engineers to join our team in bridge and Civil Construction. We have multiple projects starting and on the go in locations around Queensland and NSW. We are a diverse and flexible employer, offering long term career opportunities for our employees with opportunity for both local and away works.
As a potential candidate, you should have the following attributes:
- Civil Engineering Degree or Construction Management Degree
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings and specifications
- Organised with good time management skills
- Current unrestricted Drivers Licence and a White/Blue card.
- Prior experience in a construction role.
The following attributes are favourable:
- Prior experience with bridge and concrete structures
- Knowledge and understanding of TMR specifications or similar.
- Understanding of HSEQ Management Systems
- Experience with Microsoft Office including Project and AutoCAD
- Willing to work away on a FIFO roster when required
In this role, you will typically report to the Construction Manager or Project Manager project specific and:
- Work with the project team to deliver the projects safely and efficiently
- Assist with project activities and work scope
- Assist with managing Davbridge plant, labour, and materials resources
- Undertake inspections on the worksite ensuring all works are conducted in compliance with relevant codes and standards
- Procure required products and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors
