Here at Concentis, we are partnering with a tier-1 asset owner to source a Civil Project Engineer for an exciting opportunity based in Gladstone. Join this innovative and reputable mining company and bring your project management experience to help play a vital role in the delivery of the wall raise.

The role
As the Project Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with the project from overseeing design through to execution stages and ensuring safe delivery of the project within budget, QA/QC and day to day engineering requirements. 

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with the Project Manager to ensure projects are completed on time, to specifications and within budget
• Coordinate engineering activities, reviewing technical designs, and providing guidance to the engineering team to ensure successful execution
• Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure activities meet standards and specifications
• Conduct site assessment and studies to determine project requirements, constraints, and potential risks
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, schedules, and resource allocation plans for project execution
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and team member to provide updates through the project lifecycle

About You:

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
• Extensive experience with bulk earthworks, preferably on Wall Raise projects
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent ability to communicate and coordinate with key stakeholders
• Brownfield project experience in an asset-owner environment
