About You:
- Must have at least 2 years experience in the field
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Must have full knowledge of all Microsoft suite Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint
- Able to use AutoCAD.
- Analytical and numerical skills
- Sound knowledge of the application and establishment of project planning, scheduling, and cost control
- Contract management experience
- Professionalism: The ability to maintain a professional demeanour, stay positive under the pressure of deadlines and challenges.
- Attention to detail: Ensuring the accuracy of all project documentation and paying careful attention to law and regulation compliance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication: Creating tenders requires good writing ability.
- Being able to identify and understand the needs of project team members and facilitating collaborative problem-solving is extremely useful.
- Planning: The ability to schedule and prioritise individual contributions to meet deadlines is essential.
- Managing the technical engineering function of the project
- Define project scope/goals and deliverables
- Effectively communicate project expectations
- Interface and be involved with other project functions
- Deliver upon required project outcomes
- Prepare tender documents
- Overseeing contractors work
- Responding to enquiries and resolving problems concerning contracts
- Maintaining compliance standards and regulations - offering suggestions to improve efficiency and general administrative duties
- Processing invoices and purchase orders
- Managing project documentation and contracts
