Are you up for the challenge?
We are currently looking for a Site Engineer (Track) to join our WA Rail and Transport team.
This role will be engaged on North West railway construction projects in a 2&1 FIFO capacity from Perth.
Key Responsibilities include:- Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs, and specifications.
- Assist project team with the preparation of tenders.
- Prepare detailed project plan including but not limited to methodology, program and resources schedule.
- Forecast works prior to delivery and provide budget status post delivery.
- Assist finance team with monthly cost reporting.
- Assist with the preparation of site construction budgets and reports.
- Monitor construction progress for adherence to programme.
- Interpret designs and implementations in construction tasks.
- Undertake quantitative and qualitative safety, environmental, and quality risk assessment to ensure acceptable quality of structures and finishes.
- Being a position in Rail team, where most of the work is completed in rail closures over weekends, public holiday and nightshifts - a level of flexibility in work hours roster is required for this role.
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
- Rail Track Systems experience will be highly regarded but civil earthworks experience will also be considered for this role.
- Effective time management skills including sequencing of work of own and resource management.
