About The Opportunity
In this hands-on role, you will be primarily responsible for managing the daily operations and on-site team to deliver the project in line with the scope and program of work, including:
Organising resources, materials, and equipment on site.
Identifying and managing project variations, handling compliance administration, and conducting site meetings.
Providing regular progress reports and escalating issues when necessary.
Leading the on-site team, supervising staff, managing subcontractors, and overseeing scheduling, training, and performance.
Ensuring compliance with WHS standards, regulations, and codes of practice, including conducting toolbox meetings, site inductions, incident management, and maintaining site records.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A trade qualification in carpentry or a related field.
Knowledge and experience with civil construction, technical installations, and activities involved in deploying telecommunication networks.
Strong communication skills for effective liaison with management, clients, teams, and suppliers.
Understanding of obligations regarding workplace health, safety, and environmental practices.
