Based in Sydney’s west, they are highly regarded for their delivery of a broad range of civil works including land development, bulk excavations, roads, other infrastructure, demolition, and haulage.

The role:
An experienced Site Supervisor is sought to join the team, to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
The position will have oversight of all site activities including but not limited to:
- Assist with site set-out and setup.
- Supervision of all works by in-house teams and sub-contractors to ensure quality and appropriate productivity is maintained.
- Conduct daily risk assessments, pre-starts, toolbox talks, etc.
- Champion WHS and environmental management plans
- Coordinate tasks and ensure adherence to safe work method statements and risk assessments
- Drive the construction program, and monitoring daily work activities to maximise the utilisation of plant and resources
- Report on works completed when required
Skills and experience required include:
- 5+ years demonstrable Australian based experience as a Civil Site Supervisor, working for Civil Contractors, in addition to significant, local, on-site Civil Construction experience.
- A variety of project experience including; deep excavations with piling and shoring, roads, other infrastructure, and land development
- Able to read plans, follow a scope of works, and understand contractual obligations and limits.
- Assist with site set out, able to manage risks.
- Competent use of various tools, including laser and dumpy levels.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, able to liaise with subcontractors, delegate and motivate a team, and manage conflict when necessary.
- Safety orientated, with a clear understanding of safe work practices and ensuring they are followed.

An excellent salary of $120k - $150k+ Super and vehicle has been suggested, and is negotiable depending on experience.
