Our clients include SA Water, Water Corporation, Sydney Water and SEQ Water.
About the role:
We are recruiting for a Civil Site Supervisor with a proven history in delivering roads, footpaths, landscaping, and fencing packages. As the Civil Site Supervisor, you will lead an energised team of trades people while ensuring a safe working environment. You will ensure that all work is carried out safely and in compliance with industry standards. You will also be involved in developing and implementing maintenance schedules and managing resources effectively. This role is a fixed term until the end of August and an immediate start is required.
More specifically you will:
- Maintain a safe workplace for all site personnel and ensure that environmental impacts are minimised
- Ensure that work is completed to a high quality in accordance with project specification requirements
- Ensure that work is completed in a timely manner
- Ensure that all project documentation is completed to a high standard
- Maintain close working relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
- Procure equipment at competitive prices
- Effectively manage team resources
As our ideal candidate you will:
- Have experience as a Site Supervisor within the Construction industry, leading Trades teams with enthusiasm and a strong safety focus
- Be able to understand Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID)
- Have a trades certificate
- Have solid experience working on major infrastructure projects, Water Industry experience is preferred
- Be familiar with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards relating to the construction industry
- Enjoy building infrastructure and solving problems
