About the role
We are looking for a Supervisor to lead a site-based delivery team in regional Queensland. You will be responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of multi-disciplined, self-performed civil earthworks capital projects in line with cost, schedule, risk, environmental and quality requirements.
Reporting to the Superintendent, you will be responsible for:
- Lead and direct a team of up to 50 plant operators and trades, assign tasks, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative work environment;
- Oversight of project civil earthworks programs, ensuring that the team of machinery operators complete works to meet schedule and quality requirements, directing the progress of work and driving compliance;
- Encourage teamwork, ensure effective communication, and facilitate knowledge sharing to optimise project outcomes; and
- Equipment management to ensure the inventory of equipment that are needed are available, being organised and used in an efficient manner.
About you
- The ideal candidate will have 1 or 2 years of experience working as a Civil Supervisor;
- FIFO from Brisbane or Cairns;
- Proven, direct supervision experience of Grader, Scraper, Loader, Moxy & Excavator earthworks teams;
- Strong understanding earthmoving plant;
- Strong leadership and people skills;
