Your new company
The company is a civil engineering firm that designs building structures and civil works for development and institutional sites. The company considers the natural forces and environmental impacts of each project and applies the latest standards and techniques.

Your new role
The company is looking for a civil design drafter who will be responsible for:

• Developing concept and detailed design of civil and stormwater features for the sites, using AutoCAD 2D, Autodesk Civil 3D, DRAINS and MUSIC software.
• Working from site plans provided by architects or clients and ensuring that the layout meets the local council design principles and adapts to the environment.
• Working in a team with other engineers, drafters, council representatives, architects and builders to co-ordinate the project documentation.
• Attending meetings, identifying changes in scope or services, and making recommendations and modifications accordingly.
• Working on multiple projects simultaneously

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will preferably have 2+ years of civil design experience, as well as:

• Civil 3D knowledge or expertise
• Self-motivation and a good work ethic
• Confidence and good communication skills
• A professional approach to representing the firm
• Desire to enjoy and contribute to a collaborative and interactive work environment
