The Women’s & Children’s Health Network provides state of the art health care for women, babies, children and young people across South Australia. We are the state’s leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions as well as being SA’s largest maternity and obstetric service.
Our community-based services also reach hundreds of thousands of babies, children and young people, their families and communities across South Australia through our various services and programs in areas such as our Mental Health, Child & Family Health services, Youth Health and Aboriginal Health services.

The Opportunity
We're currently seeking a Claims Consultant to join our Administration Team full-time, with potential for extension.
The Claims Consultant reports to the Executive Director of People & Culture via the Manager of Work Health & Safety and Injury Management. They are responsible for delivering early intervention, high-quality claims management, and return-to-work services in compliance with relevant legislation and standards. Their role involves coordinating claim management, providing rehabilitation services, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure optimal recovery and cost-effectiveness. Additionally, they offer consultancy and advisory services to internal and external stakeholders, contribute to policy development, and engage in continuous quality improvement activities.
About You
To be successful in this role you would need:
Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in Personal Injury or Work Injury management.
Extensive background in claims management, compensation services, and rehabilitation for large self-insurers.
Innovative thinking, initiative, and strong decision-making.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective negotiation and stakeholder engagement.
Outstanding organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently and meet deadlines autonomously.
Commitment to vocational rehabilitation principles and familiarity with HR principles.
Understanding of legal procedures and terminology relevant to employment tribunals.
