Job description

Sedgwick is seeking a proactive, driven and experienced Claims Consultant who can deliver an excellent experience to our customers and clients at all stages of a claim. You will work collaboratively with your Sedgwick colleagues to deliver services within relevant SLAs. Your actions will ensure the customer and client remain central to everything you do.

What are my accountabilities? 

  • End-to-end claims management incl. policy interpretation, liaising with stakeholders, settlement negotiation & claim resolution
  • Proactively and strategically working with customers on identifying and driving solutions
  • Oversight and management of 3rd party service providers
  • Effectively build and maintain relationships
  • Collaborating with colleagues focused on high performance and exceeding expectations

About You:

  • 1+ years’ experience in Insurance, Property Inspections or Property Claims
  • A comprehensive understanding of the General Insurance Code of Practice
  • Strong policy analysis and interpretation skills
  • Creative, caring and keen to develop your skills and grow your career
  • Ability to prioritise, multi-task and work to deadlines
  • Self-motivated, driven and with a strong desire to win
  • Exceptional communication, organisational and customer service skills
  • Enjoy working within a fast-paced environment
